Spaghetti Sauce (go here for an inexpensive recipe!)
1 zucchini
1.5 pounds ground beef browned
3/4 package mozzerella Daiya non-dairy cheese
2 and 1/2 cups of your favorite GF pasta
Preheat oven to 400F
- Brown ground beef.
- Make spaghetti sauce (unless you have some in a jar you can have).
- Meanwhile saute zucchini in olive oil, with salt and pepper.
- Cook rice noodles (for secrets of rice pasta go here).
- Layer sauce on the bottom of a casserole pan. Sprinkle, the ground beef, layer the sauteed zucchini in a long layer. Sprinkle with "cheese". Add the noodles. Repeat until you run out of ingredients. Sprinkle Daiya cheese on top. Bake at 400F until cheese "melts" on top. (5-10 minutes).
This makes enough for 2 adults, and 3 small children for two meals. I am posting this at Waste Not Want Not Wednesday.
Thank you for sharing your recipe!! I can easily sub out the beef and add in some tofu crumbles! Easy peasy! Awesome! I'd like to invite you to link up at our Gluten Free Fridays recipe party :) We'd love to have you come over! http://vegetarianmamma.com/glutenfree-fridays-recipe-party-4/
